New Product Introduction
Lead projects with overall responsibility inside the plant
Lead sample build & pilot run based on risk analysis
Communication and coordination with Marketing, PM, PE and Source to ensure we meet the schedule
Assure projects within cost target, budget, schedule, quality and safety
Estimate process, operation cost, and expend for the project
Provide capability and capacity analysis for make and buy decision
Responsible for the process flow, material flow, information flow, line layout, prototype making, and pilot run
Provide support and training to the production
Prepare all necessary documentations, such as WI, OBC, drawing, PPAP, line layout, VSM etc.
Floor Support – as the product expert to support production shopfloor in all aspect
Engineering Data
Ensure accuracy of BOM and routing
Assist database administrator for frequent and timely engineering data update
Analysing manufacturing cost and understand the BOM consumption and Routing flow
Continuous Improvement – lead project on process improvement to lower manufacturing cost, increase productivity, or reduce lead time/inventory.
External Support – support external department on cost analyse, or problem analyse and provide solution
Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree and major in engineering
Extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing, good understanding, critical thinking on international company
At least 5 years working experience in manufacturing environment
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (minimum passed CET level 4)
Very strong analysis skills: process, flow, capacity, cost/benefit, and waste stream
Skilled in using simulation, process modeling and value stream mapping
Experienced in implementing lean manufacturing techniques
Project management and leadership ability
Facilitation and negotiation skills
Knowledge of material handling
