职位描述:
开发新客户,维护现有客户,处理客诉以及提供技术支持等。
Main Responsibilities:
1. Travels regularly to support the full product line and meeting related plant personnel and key decision makers. Occasionally introduces new products. Meets 100% of Plan annually.
2. Introduces new sales concepts and solutions to customers, handles most technical application questions/issues and provides an analytic and strategic approach to solving customer problems and presenting ITW technical solutions (multiple options with pros and cons) that relate to the sales as well as inventory, lead times, pricing, delivery, and payment terms. Regularly handles basic technical support for process, substrate, application related questions during product qualification and after sales for non-compliance issues. Refers advanced problems to technical support or R&D.
3. Accurately and completely prepares proposals (which includes multiple variables that base pricing on lead times, volume bases, blanket orders, payment terms), quotes and related documentation.
4. Responsible for developing positive business relationships with existing customers. Communicate regularly with purchasing departments or related staff for sales approvals. Works under some regular supervision and instructions from their manager. Relays key customer comments and market trends to their manager, and/or other departments as necessary. Works closely with global industrial sales teams, customer service, handles customer complaints, and seeks guidance from manager or account managers on customer negotiations. Independently handles policy and list pricing issues.
5. Develops global accounts at a local level, working with global sales team leaders in Europe and the USA.
6. Manages assigned territory by preparing Sales Pipeline information and data, territory forecasts, customer analysis blue sheets, preparing weekly detailed contact reports, utilizing contact management software, regularly calling all accounts, proper documentation of quotes and data entry in sales system, and other business reports.
7. Travels regularly in the assigned territory to interface with customers to analyze their individual requirements and to present new opportunities. Determines customer requirements for inventory, lead-times, and production capabilities. Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing, operations and other decision makers at existing and prospective customers.
8. Attend trades shows and training seminars as required by supervisor.
9. Meets internal goals of sales expense budgets, travel and other departmental spending.
10. Provide support to Marketing Department in development of local languages sales literatures, brochures and other marketing material
Requirement:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related business discipline such as Marketing, or equivalent experience is required.
2. Two to five years successful related industrial technical sales experience is required with focus on printing/graphic arts, and/or chemistry related to coatings (heat transfer process) or laminates (paper, vinyl or foils).
3. Sales experience would include demonstrated success in meeting sales targets, assessing customer needs, preparing quotes, understanding and interpretation of technical applications and problem solving, and regular territory travel.
